3rd paragraph:

 "[Definition: A node is an instance of one of the node kinds defined in [XQuery and XPath Data Model (XDM) 3.1].]"

If you search for node kinds, 16 "hits" in XDM, none of which are helpful.

If you search for node, > 100 "hits."
