Only IE supports this right now - a bit early to put into the WebVTT spec, IMHO.

OK, I'd be happy to add it unless a browser vendor would strongly object to this feature.
Discussion at FOMS: used almost as often as ruby and should be part of the v1.
Re-considering: it might hold up interoperable implementations, so leaving for later.
We should also specify: When text-combine-upright is italicized, the direction of the slant must follow the vertical orientation, not the horizontal.
Shouldn't the slanting match whatever CSS does?
