Do like menubutton and remove the kayboard stuff that should be in the menu pattern and refer to it.

In discussion during Jan 19, 2015 meeting, Matt proposed removing this pattern based on its definition. The pattern says that a pop-up menu is a menu that provides context specific actions for white space and that it does not have a visible trigger. Matt proposed that putting application functions exclusively in such menus is not a good practice for accessibility and that specifying a "technically accessible" way of doing so could promote poor practice. The group agreed with the proposal to remove the pattern. See minutes at:
