Description Benito van der Zander 2014-12-14 22:42:39 UTC
XQuery 3.1 says:

> 2.4.2 Atomization

> If the item is a functionDM30 [err:FOTY0012] is raised.

However FOTY0012 is "Argument to fn:data() contains a node that does not have a typed value."

It should be FOTY0013 "The argument to fn:data() contains a function item."

(also would be better, if the error messages where linked from there)

Thanks, Benito. I'll fix that. Your recent bug reports have been very helpful.
Comment 2 Michael Kay 2015-07-06 09:11:31 UTC
This change does not appear in the current draft. Section 2.4.2 still uses FOTY0012 for both errors (and there are still no links)
Comment 3 Josh Spiegel 2015-07-07 16:35:10 UTC
I have fixed the error. However, none of the FNO errors referenced from XQuery are linked currently and I don't think it makes sense to do this piecemeal. If we want all FNO errors linked in XQuery, I think it makes more sense to file a separate bug for this.
