Media containers may contain a variety of tracks that get sourced as text tracks but are not used by the application. In order to relieve the UA from having to create Cues in this case, the text track @mode should be set to "disabled" when created. Applications should set the mode to "hidden" or "showing" if the Cues are to be rendered or acted on by script.
