1. open up a browser of your choice and enter http://dev.w3.org/html5/alt-techniques/#tree in the address field and then press enter.
2. read the Yes-answer under the first question "Is this image the only content of a link or form control?"

I would like to add a [to] in that sentence, making it:

"Use the alt attribute [to] communicate the destination of the link or action taken."
