Description steve faulkner 2014-08-20 17:25:46 UTC
The main element description does not correspond to its definition in HTML5

current:
"main can be used as a container for the dominant contents of another element, such as the main content of the page."

suggested:
"The main element represents the main content of the body of a document or application."

I'm curious about original wording, was it driven by some use case?
