Description Shane McCarron 2014-07-17 16:12:50 UTC
The Acknowledgement section contains the following text:

Thanks to the participants of the microdata usability study for allowing us to use their mistakes as a guide for designing the microdata feature.

However, there was a working group decision to remove references to microdata from the spec.

Please remove this from the acknowledgement section: http://htmlwg.org/heartbeat/CR-html5-20140731/acknowledgments.html#acknowledgments

Comment 2 Robin Berjon 2014-09-01 13:19:05 UTC
The change has been made in the CR branch and will show up in both the automatic build (when it's up again) and the upcoming PR CfC draft.

While I don't wish to reopen the topic, I would like the register the observation that this sort of discussion of this sort of detail is not part of what gives working on standards in general nor in the HTML WG in particular a good reputation.
