currently only implementd in Firefox, unclear whether the mapping is required as can't find case where link is exposed to user. http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/dom.html#sec-strong-native-semantics link element that creates a hyperlink = link role
Opera used to expose a browser chrome button for <link rel="previous | next | home | etc."> In that case, it'd be rendered natively as a button, not as a link rendered by the UA.
