IE(9) and Chrome(35) pass the test even though they don't support "xml:space". (But Firefox support xml:space but wrong, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1019555)

Ok I see now Chrome has made an update in version 35 an update.
