Description Harald Alvestrand 2014-05-26 09:57:49 UTC
At the May 19-21 meeting of the Media Capture TF, consensus was found around a new form of constraints.

Main properties:

- Consensus for a model where “exact”, “max” and “min” values are always mandatory, “ideal” is always optionalish, and a naked value means “ideal”. Peter to draft a proposal (“pull request”?) by June 7.
- Consensus that “advanced” will be part of the proposal going forward.

The consensus was based on slideware by Peter Thatcher.

This was added to the 19 June dated draft.
Leaving bug open until assignees and editors say it's done.

The Ideal algorithm has now also been specified (with the merge of https://github.com/w3c/mediacapture-main/pull/20).
