Description Michael Kay 2014-01-21 17:36:12 UTC
In XPath 3.1, format-number() is being enhanced to support output in exponential notation. This introduces a new symbol to the decimal format: exponent-separator with default value "e".

It would make sense to introduce this new attribute in XSLT 3.0, describing it for example as "for future use".
