(2) IDL and operations for DH and ECDH should be almost the same, but
currently they are quite different.

They should have a similar pattern, which they do, but they should not be the same.

For ECDH, for generate we have the curve and for derive we have the public value. For DH, for generate we have the prime and generator and for derive we have the public value.

Pls re-open if I have missed something.
