HTML 5 icon

I know that the HTML 5 validator is still marked experimental but it is in reasonable shape. It would be really, really nice to have an HTML 5 icon.

I must admit that I grabbed and modified a HTML 4 icon to produce an HTML 5 one. Yes: I do realise that this is breaking the terms under which I got the HTML 4 icon, this is why I am asking for an official one.

I wish to donate my icon to W3 and for others to use, it is here:

I also attach the icon to this bug report.

Thanks for the report. This is something that other people have asked for as well, but as the maintainer of the W3C HTML5 validator, I have no plans to have the service provide a "Valid HTML5" icon. For an explanation of why, see http://www.cs.tut.fi/~jkorpela/html/validation.html#icon
