Description Léonie Watson 2013-07-23 15:39:01 UTC
Section 4.8.1.1.7 includes an example where additional information about an image is provided via a link near the image. Perhaps a similar example using the longdesc attribute would also be helpful?

This is part of the work from the accessibility TF on the relevant section

HTML5.1 Bugzilla Bug Triage: won't fix, unable to find the specific section or text in the latest draft.

If this resolution is not satisfactory, please copy the relevant bug details/proposal into a new issue at the W3C HTML5 Issue tracker: https://github.com/w3c/html/issues/new where it will be re-triaged. Thanks!
