Compare
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/forms.html#attr-fs-method
http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/association-of-controls-and-forms.html#attr-fs-method

This is missing
[[
The keyword dialog, mapping to the state dialog, indicating that submitting the form is intended to close the dialog box in which the form finds itself, if any, and otherwise not submit.
]]

(Not sure if anything more is missing or not)

HTML5.1 Bugzilla Bug Triage: Fixed, the HTML 5.1 document seems to be inline with what was added to WHATWG spec.

If this resolution is not satisfactory, please copy the relevant bug details/proposal into a new issue at the W3C HTML5 Issue tracker: https://github.com/w3c/html/issues/new where it will be re-triaged. Thanks!
