Description Ian Devlin 2013-04-28 09:02:35 UTC
The current description of the menu element differs from that which is in 5.1, and I have been told that it needs to be updated, hence this bug report.

The type attribute is listed as having three possible values: list, toolbar and context whereas 5.1 lists two: toolbar and popup.

Status: Partially Accepted
Change Description: <menu> item removed from CR
Rationale:

As part of Robin's recent CR updates, the <menu> element has been removed (since we needed to remove <command> and <menu>, <menuitem> made little sense without it. As such, you could say that the differences with the menu item have been resolved.

I'm choosing "Fixed" for this, but if this feels like "Won't Fix" I'd accept that too.
