The High Resolution Time Level 2 specification [1] adds support for the performance.now() method in the worker context. Specifically, it defines the time origin for a shared worker to be the time immediately before the creation of the shared worker. To more clearly define the "time of creation", I'd like to link to Step 1 of the Web Worker processing model. Please specify an id for step 1. In addition to some IDs, I added the term "official moment of creation" to the spec so that you can refer to that directly. Let me know if you'd like that updated in some way.
