Description Jon Piesing (OIPF) 2013-03-15 08:43:39 UTC
This issue results from a joint meeting between the Open IPTV Forum, HbbTV and the UK DTG. These organizations originally sent a liaison statement to the W3C Web & TV IG:

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/member-web-and-tv/2013Jan/0000.html (W3C member only link)

The MSE specification refers to 'presentation timeline' twice and 'timeline' once. Assuming it is intended that time as far as MSE is concerned is the same as the media timeline of the HTML5 media element then this should be explicitly stated
Comment 1 Aaron Colwell (c) 2013-03-16 16:01:27 UTC
I will change these all to "media timeline" and have them be links to the "media timeline" definition in the HTML spec.
Comment 2 Jon Piesing (OIPF) 2013-03-17 10:17:02 UTC
Good. We assumed this was the case but wanted to be sure.
