Description Sandy Gao 2005-09-09 13:51:11 UTC
There doesn't appear to be anything in the REC which blocks a simple type
definition of {variety} 'list' whose {item type definition} is not derived from
its {base type definition}'s {item type definition}. The same is true for
{variety} 'union' and {member type definitions}.

Resolved at the March 14 telecon to classify R-102 as an error with erratum and
to instruct HST, PVB, AM to prepare erratum text (the text will apply to
Structures, but the Datatypes editors have a strong interest here).

Proposed text at:
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema-ig/2002Oct/att-0221/00-R-
67etc.html

Discussed and approved at Oct. 24 telecon
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema-ig/2002Oct/0248.html

Erratum E1-24 added
