When editing a page there is a checkmark that has the label: "Not required (suppresses printing of the entire section when checked)" If examples aren't required, they should still be shown (even though the checkmark label says otherwise). What is the reason this behavior connected to a "not required" behavior?
To clarify: The purpose of the checkbox is to show an editorial message ("{{Editorial | This section should include examples. |type=Needs Examples}}") if it's unchecked and no examples are given. Also it will hide the examples section if it's checked. I agree, that the examples could be shown, even if the checkbox is checked. I'll leave that open to discussion. :)
