This is about readability, not semantics.

Section 4.5 introduces the new concept "shadow insertion point" but
there is no explanation how authors can create it.
(that is using <shadow> element.)

Even the test writer initially misunderstood this and wrote a wrong test.

Fixed. The new spec clearly defines that.
