Develop content for the following stubs:

tutorials/css_transitions
tutorials/css_animations
tutorials/css_transforms

Expect to have it ready 1/18. Contact Mike Sierra (letmespellitoutforyou@gmail.com) for input.

I think they would be best placed under css/tutorials.

css/tutorials/transitions
css/tutorials/animations
css/tutorials/transforms

That will help keep the URLs cleaner and the content organized as it should be.
Comment 2 Mike Sierra 2012-12-17 14:16:47 UTC
Easy enough, but looks like most everything linked on css/tutorials would have to move as well.
Comment 3 Jonathan Garbee 2012-12-17 14:17:35 UTC
Yea, we have a lot of moving to do in order to get things organized right. I'm making reports for those in the new issue tracker after we get it going.

Explanation of the tutorial placement:

Originally we wanted to have all tutorials placed under just tutorials/, the rationale being that many tutorials will involve multiple topics, e.g. HTML, CSS, _and_ JavaScript. In that case, they wouldn't fit under css/tutorials, or javascript/tutorials, etc.

if we put them all under tutorials/, we can then tag them with all the different technology classifications that apply to them, and dynamically generate different TOCs for different series of tutorial.

That was the idea anyhow. I'm now sure what has become of it. Something else that needs discussing in the content meeting really.

Also note dependency. Hope to use live interactive samples demonstrating CSS properties, but can use static screen shots in the interim.
Comment 6 Mike Sierra 2012-12-17 14:28:42 UTC
Chris: Will hold off on moving these pages until broader issue is decided.
Comment 7 Chris Mills 2012-12-17 14:31:46 UTC
Cool. You can of course start writing now, We'll just move them when ready.
Comment 8 Mike Sierra 2012-12-19 00:56:27 UTC
FYI: Transforms tutorial done except for a couple of minor details.
Comment 9 Mike Sierra 2012-12-21 23:45:15 UTC
Transitions tutorial done.
Comment 10 Mike Sierra 2013-01-03 00:47:31 UTC
Animations done. Will check in again & post live samples whenever possible; otherwise consider this task closed.
