Description Silvia Pfeiffer 2012-12-12 22:17:00 UTC
(Feedback from Christian Vogler:)
Is transparency the default for the regions, or does this need to be explicitly set in the CSS?

We probably need a ::cue-region default selector for regions and set the background-color to transparent in the default style sheet.
Comment 1 Simon Pieters 2012-12-13 06:57:29 UTC
transparent is the initial value for background-color.
Comment 2 Silvia Pfeiffer 2012-12-13 10:03:28 UTC
Simon - the concern was about regions, not cues (something that may be called something completely different when Ian has spec-ed it)
Comment 3 Simon Pieters 2012-12-13 12:07:00 UTC
Yes. I mean, transparent is the initial value for background-color *in CSS*. Hence, there's no need for a ::cue-region default selector for regions and set the background-color to transparent in the default style sheet.
Comment 4 Silvia Pfeiffer 2012-12-15 12:02:32 UTC
I see! Thanks - that makes it easy indeed. I should add a note about it, though, for those that want to avoid CSS.
Comment 5 Silvia Pfeiffer 2013-01-22 05:38:06 UTC
Mentioned that region's default background color is transparent.
