See http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/Special:WantedPages There are ~150 unresolved links to HTML/Elements/<tagname>, most of which will probably resolve if redirected to the lowercase html/elements/<tagname> variant.
Yes - we made an effort around launch time to resolve all the uppercase standard pages to the equivalent lower case. Is there a way we can batch change all these links?
We should work on getting all the Wanted Pages fixed. If certain things can be scripted then we should do it. Otherwise is is a great task for a DocSprint or for a general to-do task.
I have put this on to http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Task_Roadmap as a task to do between week ending December 9th and 23rd. This falls nicely across the google doc sprint.
Perfect. It is only critical now since there are so many wanted pages. One the list is trimmed down to about 50-60 pages or so the importance should be reduced to minor. This should always stick around as a task to look into for people wanted to get started with helping out.
I have just fixed a load by resolving https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=20136.
I found it useful to re-sort alphabetically to find clusters of related xrefs. The template should also behave that way. The ones where you lowercase s/b easy globals, but others will be harder to match with existing content. But don't expect to be able to fix the ones that reference non-existent content. E.g. I referenced CSS border-image properties, DOM Range, paged media, and a flexbox tutorial I assume should follow my own on regions. Those remainders should translate to bugs requesting uncovered topics.
Reverting this bug's platform to All, as experience happens on all platforms.
