Description Sandy Gao 2005-09-07 19:58:07 UTC
This is a request for clarification of the semantics of "XmlCharRef" in regular
expressions.

See
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-xml-schema-comments/2001AprJun/0255.html
Comment 1 Sandy Gao 2005-09-07 19:58:24 UTC
The WG agreed that the commentator is correct, and that the production for
character reference should not be in the grammar.

Alexander Falk proposed the grammar change as part of mail
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-xml-schema-ig/2001Sep/0044.html.

Erratum item E2-18 was revised to incorporate this change.
