To figure out if we can launch, we need to have confidence the site can handle load. Use Apache load testing framework or something similar. An example bug that shows an issue is here: https://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=19167
Bumping to pri 1
Load tested last night at 100 QPS on several "heavy" types of pages (e.g. has multiple template includes). -- 1st run -- Requests : 12,991 200 OK: 10,939 503 error: 58 --2nd RUN-- Requests made : 10,000 200 OK: 0 503 error: 10,000 The 1st and 2nd run were close together, so the wiki server was already foobar'd by then. I'll do a few more runs today.
Logged in users: 10 users, 5min, ~12 qps Anonymous users: 100 users, 5min, 33/sec => 0 ERRORS 200 users, 5min, 60/sec => 0 ERRORS 400 users, 5min, 114/sec => 0 ERRORS 800 users, 5min, 200/sec => 0 ERRORS
