Description Matt Brubeck 2012-07-25 17:17:44 UTC
In the latest Quirks Mode spec, the unitless length quirk is supported by the "top", "left", and "right" properties but not the "bottom" property.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=776591 has two examples of existing content broken by removing of this quirk from the "bottom" property in Firefox Nightly builds, and evidence that more such content exists. Gecko has restored support for unitless lengths in "bottom" and we believe the spec should be changed to match.

I did some research on dotnetdotcom's web200904 (see comment in the spec's source). The following properties are also currently excluded:

text-indent:378
max-width:285
min-width:219
background-position:135
bottom:101
max-height:95
vertical-align:47
min-height:38
border-spacing:7

For perspective, here are some bogus properties found:

size:5022
spacing:243
start:49
position:80

Should we add only 'bottom' or should we include some other properties as well?

Added 'bottom' for now.
