Thanks John, everything is fixed except the last one - I am under the feeling { document { <a/>, <b/> }} should always raise err:XQDY0084 in any case since it is the very first bullet point.
Order of bullet points is not prescriptive of order of execution.
Hi John, The issue I see is that bullet points 2 and 4 use the expression "the root element information item" which I think assumes that the check in bullet point 1 was performed. If there is more than an element node under the document node, I am afraid that this expression is not defined. Or am I missing something?
