if statement is missing brackets ( else has it) and the function  

useComponentModelPolyfill("x-chart", "Chart"); 

while innocuous might be assumed by n00b readers to be an interface provided by browsers. 

The example could simply get by with a // enter polyfilling function here or something similar.
