Description Janina Sajka 2011-08-03 21:25:38 UTC
Pf notes the attempt to provide linked definitions. However, in our experience these
frequently seem circular and unhelpful. A separate section providing definitions for terms
in this specification, especially to those definitions which are particular to this specification,
would greatly aid in the understandability of this document, especially for persons not
yet intimate with the specification.
Comment 1 Anne 2011-08-03 21:32:35 UTC
Could you provide some examples of circular definitions? I believe there are over a thousand terms defined at this point. Listing them all would get somewhat unwieldy.
Comment 2 Michael[tm] Smith 2011-08-04 05:01:31 UTC
mass-moved component to LC1
Comment 3 Ian 'Hixie' Hickson 2011-08-06 07:25:42 UTC
Not to mention that some of the definitions are rather complicated and require entire chapters to explain.
