Examples, the data type "monetaryAmount" The monetaryAmount type works well for some currencies (USD, EUR,...), but does not work for others (Yen,...). Please generalize. The number of fractional digits needed currently is 0, 2, or 3. So instead of "/d+/./d{2}" please write s.t. like "/d+/./d{2-3}?" Based on Martin's review, comment [36]
consensus of the i18n-core-wg, telecon 27 may 2005: approved by i18n-core-wg.
The schema includes the comment <!-- This example is for data model illustration only. It does not demonstrate good schema design. --> and it's clearly a toy. Whilst I agree with the spirit of the comment, getting the example right is tricky and requires meticulous attention to detail. I'm not inclined to change it for this reason.
We'll do this one, accepted 7 June 2005.
