XPath 2.0, XQuery 1.0, and associated documents use 8-character error codes. The Full-Text spec uses 6-character error codes. Full-Text must be brought up to date and use 8-character error codes.
At the face-to-face meeting of the Full-Text Task Force held during 14-18 July, 2005, a proposal was adopted that updated all error codes in the Full-Text spec to conform to the newer format (and to correspond to the appropriate XQuery/XPath codes). In addition, that proposal provided specific error codes at places in the spec where no specific code was specified.
I accept the action of the Task Force as described in your response. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
