This is a bad idea, since it creates a bunch of extra machinery to make these things scrollable, which is highly undesirable.

object-fit doesn't make these elements scrollable. Only overflow:hidden and overflow:visible are supported.

Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: If they don't want overflow with 'object-fit:cover' they should set 'overflow' appropriately. Making <object>, <img>, <input>, and <canvas> have overflow:hidden would affect their fallback states in unexpected ways.
