RE: Correction about VoiceXML

Thank you for pointing out this error. Just to clarify, the VoiceXML Forum is different from the W3C Voice Browser Working Group, which actually published the VoiceXML spec. Having said that, the Voice Browser Working Group is also closed (https://www.w3.org/Voice/). However, reporting errors to the public mailing list, as you have done, is exactly the right thing to do, since the mailing list serves as a repository for keeping track of any errors found in the Voice Browser specs.

Thank you.

Yes, you are correct, but the VoicXML forum stopped working, so I would not expect a correction.

Hi, there:

I’m reading VoiceXML: <https://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/> https://www.w3.org/TR/voicexml20/.

In section “2.1.5 Mixed Initiative Forms”, there is such a sentence:

One common authoring tyle combines an <initial> element that prompts for a general response with <field> elements that prompt for specific information.

I think the “tyle” here is not correct.

Maybe it should be “style”?

Best regards

ZhangLin
