Meeting minutes

Consider publishing Profiling and UI to /TR/

nicholascar: Will do that this week
… so far minimal feedback from this first stage, for Core and SPARQL
… hoping for more feedback related to UI
… will register the specs in review stage

AndyS: We need to formally vote to more to TR

nicholascar: We probably already voted on the short names

AndyS: FPWD triggers patents process
… should check with Carine
… Rules document not quite there yet
… doesn't need votes, already TR

CS to be a Note

nicholascar: no responses from Compact Syntax editors, now the timeline for recommendation is over
… any comments from people here (crickets)

HolgerK: No updates on Core, SPARQL, Node Expressions

nicholascar: Profiles update
… we do need a vocabulary
… all relevant terms are already in Core
… preference is to just add a few terms to Core as it's not worth their own vocab
… will create a ticket for this

<ajnelson-nist> I posted Issue 882, which challenges a property-chain axiom in PROF. w3c/data-shapes#882

nicholascar: so profiles will only use sh:, rdfs: owl: namespaces

ajnelson-nist: will assign ticket to nicholascar

edmond: UI update
… not much, a few active PRs

AndyS: Rules update
… next step to review the whole document for flow, reasonable coverage
… needs security section
… (denial of service etc)
… simonstey is drafting a Note, moving from SHACL-AF to SHACL 1.2 Rules
… discussion on whether such a Note requires formal vote/process
… alternative would be a live document on wiki

simonstey: At Siemens we use SHACL-AF rules a lot, and expect rules feedback

AndyS: questions on whether Rules needs to accommodate different rule types

nicholascar: Implementation Report

<AndyS> https://w3c.github.io/data-shapes/data-shapes-test-suite/

nicholascar: discussion on what needs to be delivered based on EARL reports
… important to pass the CR phase
… with 2 implementations required of each feature

nicholascar: will review what other WGs are doing w.r.t. impl reports.

AndyS: long term maintenance of tests, it may be better outside of WG, e.g. community group

<nicholascar> How about in w3c/shacl-resources?

<AndyS> w3c/rdf-tests

nicholascar: needs to be synched with impl report

<simonstey> +1

HolgerK: Impl report should be dynamically generated

<nicholascar> Request from Profiling TF: can the Rules TF review this inclusion of a Rules specification in the Profiling doc: https://raw.githack.com/w3c/data-shapes/profiling-vocab-start/shacl12-profiling/index.html#rule-conformsto

General business

<ajnelson-nist> w3c/data-shapes#576

ajnelson-nist: PR-576 nobody provided feedback, so I'll close it
