Meeting minutes

<AndyS> present?

Document readiness

<nicholascar> Rules has an outline in the doc

Nick: goal to have complete outline of all documents by the end of April, and complete doc by the end of May
… to be ready for Wide review in June

- Compact syntax

good shape for outline

it's feasible to have complete doc by end of May

- UI

<AndyS> Rule work -- document has the necessary section structure. PRs for most of overview (section1); the way assignment and bnode in the head are handled (necessary feature) and for RDF syntax.

content by end of May would be veyr tight

core aspects ok

main scope is form rendering

Nick: unfinished doc may have to be pushed out of Rec track to become a Note

Registry

Nick: I've sent an email last week about "which things could need a registry"

questions

Alex: what about SHACL SHACL?

AndyS: you can republish documents

Nick: is it easier to add to register rather than republish with addition?

AndyS: the WG stays for maintenance mode

<nicholascar> Carine described the processes and reasons for WG extensions and rechartering

Overview document

<nicholascar> https://w3c.github.io/data-shapes/shacl12-overview/

Nick: please have a look at it, it's about what's new in SHACL 1.2
… q is Are people interested in adding content to this document?
… intended to become a WG note
… we used as support for wide review
… suggestions?

Ognjen: interested in recursion

Nick: in the specifications?

Ognjen: part of the core

Nick: it needs to be worked in the document where it might go first

Nick: I'll keep the Overview doc updated as we progress to the other wide reviews
… the dataset exchange WG has been rechartered
… are they going to publish validators for DCAT?

Alex: validator for SHACL 1.2?

Nick: yes

Alex: they might ask us

Nick: question is how central SHACL is

Nick: success of @@@ was because it was published with a schema, making validation possible
… DCAT without a validator does not seem sensible

Nick: (describing the GeoSPARQL experience)

<AndyS> Implementation report (for SHACL 1.0) incoming -- w3c/data-shapes#854

AOB

AndyS: have a live report of implementations

Nick: pySHACL will be updated soon
… let's discuss next week
