Dry run in two weeks time.

David: regrets for next meeting

New issues

#334 Move iXML off GitHub?

Norm looking at shifting to Codeberg

ACTION: Norm - do all the work. Others to get Codeberg ID

Open issues

#332 Invisible XML media type

Norm suggests treading water pending discussion with W3C - perhaps resolve at Plenary in Dublin in April?

+ #330 XML Namespace not referenced in iXML

Action completed by Norn, but PR not yet merged

Agreed to merge

+ #329 Unicode version not referenced in the spec - now fixed

+ #310 Not possible to set priority on rules - subsumed into ambiguity

Ambiguity umbrella topic

Steven has written a discussion document on the issues involved.

<norm> https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-ixml/2026Jan/att-0019/ambiguity.html

Steven also posted something on the semantics of the 'subtraction' operator - needs response

ACTION: John to study Steven's suggestion

Steven: suggests looking at examples we are aware of as to whether they can now be solved

Bethan: perhaps the technique suggests negative lookahead (which doesn't consume the negative portion). Are there types of ambiguity that can't be solved by lookahead?

Norm: we should still think about priority for simpler construction. It might be useful. Don't want to take it completely off the table.

> rrsagent, draft minutes

Modularization

Agreed after the symposium

Next meeting

17th February - dry run for symposium
