RESOLUTION: Approve last week's minutes

Minutes approved.

Horizontal review comments 2 3

<pchampin> also w3c/rdf-star-wg#182

<gb> Issue 182 Proposed response to the A11y checklist for the RDF specifications (by pchampin)

pchampin: created a page with a summary of the proposed response

ora: any comments for discussion now?

Ora: the TAG uses a form to gather responses

pchampin: mostly factual questions...
… The Tag recommends groups provide an explainer for people outside of the group

pchampin: we could re-use the primer

ora: making sure the primer is sufficient will benefit all of us when it comes to questions
… The Tag asks if they reviewed a previous version of RDF.

pchampin: RDF 1.2 is. new spec
… The Tag probably reviewed RDF 1.1 when it came out

pchampin: do we point the Tag to the part of the spec dealing with changes since RDF 1.1?

<Souri> +1 to summarize

We agree on updating that section

<niklasl> +1 to short summary also in the Changes section

What's next in the queue?

ACTION: pchampin to add a summary of the main changes since RDF 1.1 in rdf-concepts

<gb> Created action #183

ora: for the queue, work on primer and schema

pchampin: RDF interop isn't yet at CR

<AndyS> RDF/XML has all the changes needed.

pchampin: I would request the WG to publish an update

ora: who is the editor?

pchampin: me

<pchampin> https://w3c.github.io/rdf-interop/spec/

ora: people will need a little time to re-read the document, so we should discuss this next week

niklasl: also the document I've been working on ...

ora: should we merge the two documents?

niklasl: yes, that is my preference

<niklasl> https://niklasl.github.io/rdf-struct-patterns/spec/

ora: what do we think?

AndyS: for me it doesn't really fall into the scope of interoperability

niklasl: yes, it is more about design patterns

AndyS: no harm in having 2 different Notes

<pchampin> +1 their scopes are separate enough

ora: I've no strong feelings as long as we succeed in providing good explanations

AndyS: we need a good landing page

Ora: AndyS you said the RDF/XML document is good
… I would like to throw that document into the bundle to be published

<Zakim> pchampin, you wanted to ask if we have tests for RDF/XML new features?

ora: lists the documents he is aware of and asks what else?

pchampin: do we we have tests for RDF/XML new features? It looks like we do

AndyS: yes

<AndyS> https://github.com/w3c/rdf-tests/tree/main/rdf/rdf12/rdf-xml

<ora> Next wave: Primer, Schema, RDF/XML, Interop, TriG

Andy: also Nquads and Turtle

ora: yes

AndyS: we could group them into syntax and explainers

<niklasl> w3c/rdf-common#14

<gb> Issue 14 Enable Github pages on this repository to load by URL rather than local copies (by niklasl)

niklasl: we might want to deal with this issue as soon as we can

ora: thoughts?

pchampin: that is a good idea, I will try to make a pull request ...

niklasl: offers to help with this

Identifying issues to solve before CR

ora: where are we with all the editor's notes?

pchampin: the only blocker is the RDF interop doc we discussed earlier

AndyS: ???

pchampin: I have an issue with PR 76 on Ntriples

AndyS: think it is worthwhile getting the mechanism in now

pchampin: agree it is too early to set this in stone
… a tab-separated profile would make sense ...

<AndyS> I'm OK with a profile URI for canonical forms.

ora: this has been around for a while, is it ready to merge?

pchampin: I will prepare further for next week's call

AndyS: it would be better to merge so we can review the changes in context

(others agree)

pchampin: I need to update the change log too

ora: anything else for today?

ora: where are we with the IRI stuff?

AndyS: I need to prepare something

<pchampin> AndyS, if there's anything I can to to help, let me know

ora: what about the interpolation lemma?

doerthe: we're nearly there

ora: we're going to see a lot more people commenting on RDF 1.2, and I would hate our work to be misrepresented

pchampin: a few of us are preparing a tutorial for the ISWC conference

ora: we can learn from the questions after the tutorial
