Publication update
Fazio: Over the past week have heard about concerns that need to be addressed and believe those have been updated, including updates to the spreadsheet (it's been deprecated to appendix). Sheri and David also draft a "how to use" bullet list to explain it better.
Fazio: Concern was that spreadsheet didn't align to the model
<Fazio> Spreadsheet issue: w3c/
<gb> Issue 345 Repetition in 'how to evaluate...' (by iadawn)
janina: Need to consider this confusion around the spreadsheet because it's associated with the doc early on, and it talks about scoring. Suggests to pull it from what we publish and untangle this issue.
Fazio: This is why it was moved to appendix.
jkline: was this agreed to in the call?
Sheri_B-H: Doesn't agree to it being in appendix. It's already in a spreadsheet and separate document. People don't read appendix.
Sheri_B-H: Feels adding how-to language was al that was needed
ack
jkline: Feels it should go back to the way it was. The spreadsheet can't be disassociated.
Neha: Is there going to be another review from Kevin?
janina: The publication isn't going to be blocked by this issue.
Neha: Suggests to put it back and see how people use it over time
CharlesL: Bennetech wouldn't have done anything if the spreadsheet wasn't there. It would've been too theoretical. Spreadsheet was a great starting point. Scoring can also be changed over time. Also has had good feedback from other orgs.
Sheri_B-H: Feels language change from "assessment tool" could work as well to clarify
Fazio: Can move back to where it was.
janina: Consensus seems to move it back, but can say more about how it connects to the document.
Fazio: Making formal proposal to move spreadsheet back with all language in tact.
CharlesL: Also proposed same, and have real resolution in minutes with voting
Sheri_BH: Reading from text related to the spreadsheet that explains it.
Neha: Discussed that section of text that's part of editor's note and in the 2.4 section.
Sheri_BH: Looking at what's published in August update, but it seems it's changed since then.
Sheri_BH: Seems that's already been managed in GitHub
<Neha> https://
janina: One way to manage these comments is to state this is one way to use the model, and it's how the team evaluated the model. There are other ways this could be manage.
jkline: Read out section 2.4 text about the spreadsheet and felt it covered the description of the spreadsheet well.
Fazio: We know what we think as task force, and if audience is giving objections we need to address those. Read out details about the spreadsheet and its usage.
Fazio: Thinks that linking from the "how to" should be done.
Fazio: Beleives that appendix is right place
Sheri_B-H: Believes we need to look at the usage by people implementing it rather than theoretical
jkline: Still have proposal on table. Also not sure what final language was for the tool. There's been 3 or 4 read in the meeting.

janina: Will note in call for consensus is part of the editorial work we're doing?
Sheri_B-H: Proposes to create a overall update to change log to cover several months of work.
Neha: Will update the change log
