Meeting minutes

Phase 2 Subgroup Reports

<nicholascar> Profiling doc stub: https://w3c.github.io/data-shapes/shacl12-profiling/

ajnelson-nist: Linking to upstream SHACL, how it ties in with The Profiles Vocabulary, OWL

nicholascar: Overview of SHACL profile now captured in profiles doc stub
… profiles of SHACL (not simple) and profiling with SHACL (simple)
… will write up the scope of these two sections in SHACL profiling
… moving meetings to Thursdays instead of Fridays

AndyS: Providing an update to the Rules subgroup.
… partial draft, looking at general rules rather than ad-hoc rules
… may have an editors meeting, potentially a WG taskforce so it shows up in the calendar

nicholascar: we should create taskforces for all of the subgroups

<TallTed> +1 make these official task forces

<TallTed> +1 minutes highly desirable

nicholascar: compact syntax subgroup organising meetings about now

Voting on Validation Report Issue #453

bergos: the vote is still open till Wednesday
… still some discussion on-going around the predicate
… *around the predicate naming

Total SHACL Namespaces

AndyS: keep discussions and listing of namespaces in the issue for now and address them later

nicholascar: Call for patents have now been sent

AndyS: where are we for horizontal review prior to CR

nicholascar: no progress yet - on me, elianaP and caribou

caribou: is there an explainer?

<caribou> https://www.w3.org/TR/explainer-explainer/

TallTed: no need to write an explainer, just point to the relevant sections

nicholascar: question for HolgerK, your recent writings for SHACL 1.2 overviews in LinkedIn, are you willing to contribute to the overview docs?

HolgerK: happy for nicholascar to pull parts out of the LinkedIn posts into the overview docs
… a couple of things like constraint types missing in the article but should be mentioned too

AndyS: is there coordination with the RDF WG? The SHACL docs will reference the normative sections.
… RDF documents likely to be in CR for quite a long time
