Meeting minutes

Review the July tab (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q3eVdTVfErkeXMukdiNVRC1MgIDMv_2FrgJ_62silfE/edit?usp=sharing) of the Clear Language Draft for Accessibility Guidelines, v3.0

<Philipp> For Industry-specific terms[ag]

<Philipp> For content that is intended for a specialized audience rather than the general public, the organization has a documented process for determining which uncommon words or phrases:

<Philipp> Are industry-specific terms that its intended audience is expected to know

<Philipp> Are not industry-specific terms and can be replaced with common words to reduce cognitive load and increase ease of reading, such as replacing “utilize” with “use” and “elucidate” with “make clear.”

<Philipp> Sorry

<Philipp> Wanted to say: where possible explain industry specific terms

<Philipp> Also user needs: active voice 😊

<Philipp> Goal (informative document)

<Philipp> Section is quite good

Andy: Can we consider building a table for testing considerations across different languages?

Jan: Yes, let's put that on our agenda for our next meeting.
