Make the Section More Visible:

The current content about international audiences feels too hidden. Consider elevating its visibility by making it an H2 heading.

Add a Brief Note to the Introduction:

Even if the full section can’t be moved, include a short sentence in the Introduction to prompt consideration of international audiences. Example:

“In addition, please review considerations for international audiences.”

Clarify the Purpose:

There's a meaningful difference between providing detailed “guidance” and simply reminding people to “consider” something. In this case, a reminder may be all that's needed—just like in Making Content Usable, section 3.3.1, where users are prompted to think about clear language even without specific steps.

Improve the Section Title:

The title “Considerations for International Audiences” may be unclear or too indirect. Suggested alternatives:

“For International Audiences”

“Including International Audiences”

Philipp: would like to consider having more than 1 persona. Could we consider having one that is nonbinary who has a cognitive or mental health issue based on how society treats them.

Andy: Maybe have this be a child of immigrants?

John: There's an anxiety of speaking in your nonnative language - that creates anxiety and that anxiety increases cognitive load, which then increases anxiety.
