<DJ> scribe+

<DJ> Chuck: example message

<DJ> ... more speaking

<DJ> alastairc: also speaking

<DJ> ... potato

<Chuck> DJ: Discusses how to scribe and mentions the next person who speaks. You can also start typing a name and tab, and the name auto completes.

Chuck: old silver issues I am recommending we close.
... I comment with a justification. If you find one that shouldn't be closed make a comment on the issue and I'll take care of it.

CSUN Preparation

Ac: retro is on the agenda.
... what's working well and not working well.

<alastairc> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pN6zc0YjxY2TmhmrSii0Y5ghzjdNOqMV5F4a_Dfqsyo/edit?tab=t.z0u15kjdsdzb#heading=h.xvbvph7k0t4j

Ac: We will look through Views .

<alastairc> https://github.com/w3c/wcag3/discussions/286

Ac: Try to find examples.

<alastairc> https://github.com/w3c/wcag3/pull/289/files

Ac: Steve created a PR.
... look through all the key docs in preparation of our discussion.

<joryc> question+ has the time and location of the CSUN meeting been announced? It does not appear on the W3C calendar.

<cahall> I'll be there, but is attending the pre-conference workshop on Monday, are folks meeting up after? (happy hour/dinner)

Ac: Tasks and user processes in conformance will also be on the CSUN agenda

<alastairc> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1GTveSz-uNG6kN2ON3OgzqVaiFcatPxoIUS88Em9Up58/edit?pli=1&tab=t.0

Ac: check the document prior to next week's discussion.

<shadi> pointer?

<alastairc> https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/Upcoming_agendas#Upcoming

Jory: what is the time of the meeting?

Ac: 9-2 pacific time Monday

<cahall> I'm planning to be at CSUN, but will be attending the preconference, , is there going to be a meet up for dinner or after?

Hidde: when is the Views discussion?

<cahall> I'm going to CSUN but will be at preconference on Monday, will there be any meetups (Dinner?)

Ac: 11am pacific time

Carrie: I'm going to CSUN but will be at preconference on Monday, will there be any meetups (Dinner?)

<Jennie_Delisi> Confirming March 11 is cancelled?

Chuck: no formal outing. Chairs will have a Monday evening dinner at panniers. Tuesday at Cheesecake Factory. No reservations.

<Jennie_Delisi> Thank you

Sub-group stand-up

AC: no AG call on March 11. Check with your sub groups for their plans.

<Zakim> Chuck, you wanted to update on help subgroup

Chuck: Help SG. Participation challenges. Will be doing some work asynchronously.
... some more work added from Safety group.

<alastairc> Pathways document, which includes all the group members, and the status of each requirement: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ecg9qFIUVCUQfAPgNSEZ8MmsCSjbAynK8hbGBU8NrzQ/edit?gid=2035961492#gid=2035961492

DJ: Visual appearance: internationalization concerns.

Frankie: Drafting Captions, audio Descriptions, descriptive transcripts

Julie: Discussing foundational requirements.
... ... looking at high level principles of plain language.

GP: We made a lot of progress. Working on lists.
... discussing ol and ul semantics. Discussing a new term sequential lists. Doing a lot of background work.

Gregg: Identified missing elements. Looking at structure comments.
... virtual cursor is out of scope as far as we know.
... Anyone have input on that?

Ac: I guess it was put in from a SR point of view.

<jspellman> Point of regard?

Gregg: move doc into the new folder.
... 2.0 definition for change of context doesn't seem to work well.

Ac: CSUN discussion should help with that.

<Zakim> DJ, you wanted to update visual appearance

<alastairc> Note, the CSUN hybrid meeting info is in the W3C calendar now: https://www.w3.org/events/meetings/d7d6e402-9fca-4429-9c7c-00220f88cd67/ (also linked form the agenda page)

JA: Virtual cursor may execute events at a different location.
... may also be different than a pointer.
... more of an independent type of thing..

Gregg: what can an author do about it? Does a SR actually do that?

JA: SR will use a click event or device independent method.. So it may not be. Authors just need to be aware.

Gregg: Will take offline. Don't know what an author could do.
... tweaked to preserve keyboard focus.

Hidde: Holiday last week. Working on transform content.

SF: working on views.

Todd: working on our first requirement. Ties in with COGA.
... Lisa may not be able to participate. Jamie has been working on decision tree.

Template structure / decision tree review (optional)

<Todd> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_f3cJ2Wvnv7Q56QDPvGUADE_JQ7HiyOYYREDiaQpPmM/edit?usp=sharing

AC: (Screen sharing Pathways spread sheet)

<alastairc> https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MHJwOWJhGZS4zZYiF9ufNfxTmqFf6bf07vNHAAgfylE/edit?tab=t.0

AC: reviews Guideline Template
... primary need to work on is the requirements.
... Text appearance created a table.
... If you can get the requirements down that is the first step.

<kirkwood> +1 to Gregg. Had same issue

Gregg: the term "decision tree" is confusing. Applicability Tree may be better. Maybe later on we don't need a tree.

<kirkwood> +1 applicability tree

Ac: flexible about what we name things.
... need to get down the requirements.
