Resources
McCool: (goes through the WoT presentations area above)
Frederic: topic activities and resources. Michael has put in the repo links to several documents and presentations that are relevant to the WG
<kaz> McCool's slides on WoT Status and Spatial Discovery
Michael encourages us to browse those documents, presentations and videos
<McCool9> (rigo talking about Sofia workshop, AAS, Sofia workshop)
Kaz: we already have another page to gather ideas on potential use cases and pain points (examples/README.md) but McCool was currently describing the basic resources around NGSI-LD and WoT to analyze the gaps between them. We can add information about the possible use cases and pain points to the example page a bit later.
<kaz> examples
Ege: from Siemens' point of view the positioning of those standards is clear.
McCool: have concrete exemples that explain/illustrate the relationship between these standards
McCool: use the next three weeks to generate real good examples. Each of us should document at least one example.
<EgeKorkan> ack
Kaz: Just to make sure, does that mean, we once suspend gathering resources and start to discuss use cases and paint points instead?
Next steps - use cases
McCool: For the upcoming three weeks, focus on use cases and pain points to help us clarify our thinking
Martin: would do DT modeling
Juanjo: Develops his point of view around using WoT Thing Models in paralell
Rigo: Use case with onboarding of things from the perspective of the digital product passport
Rigo: It is important that the things we import in a data space are semantically well defined
McCool: Is this (i.e. ontologies) in scope of the WG?
Kaz: sounds like that would be related to DID/VC as well and a good use case for the Smart Cities IG, but we still can do initial discussion about that possible use case here within the WoT WG/IG. If there is something above the WoT Charter, we can bring the idea to the Smart Cities IG, etc., later. So don't worry :)
Ege: would like to see concrete examples about how NGSI-LD would be able to get benefit by WoT
