Funka max has a maturity tool process that could be possible adopted for a w3c mm tool

Janina - will present draft of MM statement next Monday

<janina> The Maturity Model (MM) Task Force promotes the mission of W3C/WAI by developing an Accessibility Maturity Model (AMM) that assists organizations in building the capacity to develop and maintain their products and services

Janina - recharter of our organization March 31

Janina - if we work on something normative, it needs to be in the new charter, once a normative element is defined

jkline: replace assists with enables

jkline: add internal IT to products and services

janina: thinks it should be softer. we aren't the only one that does this. enables implies they can't do it without us

Janina: the second one is from the existing charter, do we really want to change it?

Mark_Miller: also prefers assists, because it isn't prescriptive

Mark_Miller: change capacity to capability

Mark - look at "guides" vs "assists" in building the capability
