A Council was formed to rule on the remaining objection. This Council Report documents the conclusions of this Council.
2. Decision
The Council resolved to overrule the remaining objection. The Ethical Web Principles may proceed to W3C Statement.
3. Rationale
Technology is not ethically or morally neutral. W3C has a long history that 'embeds its core values and principles in the Web’s architecture'. Thus, this Council rejects the premise of this Formal Objection and dismisses it.
