Consolidate feedback on WCAG 3 Outcomes (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cRUWjVZB_0BTQQgLm7Pm_DOMLBtpL7RcsrVwQ3ynBIA/edit?usp=sharing ) for the following categories: Image and Media Alternatives, Layout, Text and wording, Help and Feedback, and User Control

Google Notes: https://
The group completed their review of these five categories: Image and Media Alternatives, Layout, Text and wording, Help and Feedback, and User Control.
There were some consistent patterns related to terminology and sentence structure that can change the meaning when translated into different languages.
Frankie volunteered to work on defining some of those patterns. For now, they will put their notes into the Google Notes document under the October 30, 2024 section. The group will review those notes at the November 6th meeting.
Andy has started working on a list of words that can be substituted for complex vocabulary. She will also put her word list into the Google Notes document under the October 30, 2024 heading.
Verb placement, sentence structure, and simpler vocabulary were frequently flagged as problematic because this makes translation difficult. For example, the word "honored" may be translated literally as "honor" in some language and would therefore change the meaning of the outcome.
The next set of outcomes that need to be reviewed are outlined in the Homework Document, linked above. They are: Animation and Movement (row 2), Forms, Inputs, and Errors (row 6), Processes and Task Completion (row 15), Interactive Components (row 51), Input / Operation (row 72), Consistency Across Views (row 116), and Policy and Protection (row
120).
These 7 sections need to be reviewed by close of business on November 4, 2024.

Advance Notice: The meeting on November 6, 2024 will be a working meeting. We will likely go over the one hour we have planned. Today's call went over by about 20 minutes, but we learned how to be faster in our review, so next time we should be more efficient. Even so, there will be issues that we will need to discuss, so we may not finish on time.
