Steven: Tutorial went well

Alain: I have implemented the XPath function
… it's not very efficient used in MIPS yet.

Erik: XForms doesn't have vars in the model; my implementation does.

Steven: Should we add variables to the model

Alain: Would be useful

Erik: We would have to specify when they are evaluated and reevaluated.

Erik: In the view it is obvious, but in the model is not so obvious

Steven: You have a solution

Erik: we picked something.
… we evaluate at multiple points
… at a rebuild for instance

Steven: So this needs investigation

ACTION: Erik to report evaluating vars in model

Erik: It is extremely useful

Steven: Just a reminder

Erik: We only do it on insert if <insert/> has an attribute saying it should be initialised

Erik: The Model Initialization part should explicitely mention the instance MIPs

ACTION: Steven update the initial property spec.
