Meeting minutes
AvneeshSingh: we start with 3. How to facilitate discussions for helping implementors? as rick has to leave later.
AvneeshSingh: do we want to take time to discuss with implementers? Out of thise call.
AvneeshSingh: what is the best way forward to monitor and help implementors.
gautierchomel: in France, one implemeted for bookshops, one is to do it by september (that covers bokkshops portals). Libraries we have no date yet.
rickj: As implementer we may want to discuss during this meeting, with all of you. Maybe the process is to clearly schedule agenda items. I would prefer to avoid to have separate meetings.
<rickj> +1
AvneeshSingh: ok, so general questions to be adressed in this call and if technical question, we'll ask the editors.
AvneeshSingh: proposed process is that implementers with questions create issue on the github issue tracker or reach to editors if not confident with github. From the issue we'll decide if there is a need to discuss with editors or general group.
<gpellegrino> +1 to George: make a call for implementers
gpellegrino: we can create an issue to ask for feedbacks so we can have a list of implemetors and questions. Still they can create a new issue, but we can have a main issue to track things.
Further updates to the principles document for issue #262
gautierchomel: we'll probably diersify feedback collection, including information webinars when the documents are publics and direct contacts.
https://
georgekersher: this are clarifications for cases where an implementer want to always display something for all informations and other edgecases related to unknown values because metadata are missing.
georgekersher: i think we can still do things a bit better for Hazards. the rest in in good shape.
rickj: what if we have claims being made in key information, but not sufficient metadata to be sure (example, some claims about navigation but not suficient to be sure of the statement).
rickj: I will write it up as an issue so we can discuss.
Review of in-progress techniques documents
https://
gautierchomel: the Navigation (4.5) is now published. Chris is working on Additional accessibility information and we keep Conformance for the end.
Chris: i am note sure about the level of detail to inform for additional informations.
Chris: I'll create an issue for that so we can discuss and have a feedback from the group.
georgekersher: do we envision we can remove the less importants, non used or implemented?
<rickj> I have to leave the call. Thank you for adjusting the agenda to accommodate my schedule.
AvneeshSingh: early end for this call, let's continue discussions and work thru the github.
